In using this website you are agreeing to, and agreed to have read the terms and conditions outlined here.
Section 1. Purchasing
Purchasing a “share” in any type of Group Break format does not guarantee that you will receive a card. The product is opened live for you on camera and if nothing is pulled from the advertised product then you will receive nothing. It is up to the discretion of RDR Sportscards to provide you with a complimentary item as a consolation, however a refund will not be issued.
If you have purchased a personal break to be broken for you live on camera you will receive all the cards that are contained within the item you purchased.
Section 2. Randomizing
Random Team assignments will be done live on camera via Random.org. Individuals who purchased a “share” in the break as well as the teams will be randomized. The first step will be establishing a break number. This number will be used to random teams, participants, and any multi-player card battles outlined later.
Random.org features a standard pair of 6-sided dice, which provide 36 total dice combinations for numbers between 2 and 12.
(Snake Eyes Controversy) While I personally feel that a 2 is a valid roll of the dice and is sufficient for random events, some people do not. If a 2 is rolled on the opening roll of the break it is disregarded and the dice are re-rolled again in order to establish a number between 3 and 12. That number is then the “Break number” which will be used until the conclusion of the break.
Multi-Player Card battles occur when a card contains multiple athletes which could span across several teams. The card will be automatically awarded to any one individual who owns 66% or more of the teams on the card. If no one individual “share” holder owns the required 66% or more of the teams on the card then the card will be randomized at the end of the break.
The “Break Number” that was used at the beginning of the break is used again to determine the singular winner of the Multi-Player Battle card.
We prefer to randomize based on the amount of “shares” purchased in the break in order to provide an advantage to customers who purchased more than one “share” in the break.
Example: You purchased 4 “shares” in a break, a card was pulled from a pack/box/case which has 3 athletes from 3 separate teams, one of which you own. You would be entered into the randomizer 4 times providing you a slight advantage as a result of the “shares” you purchased.
Section 3. Shipping
All cards, which you were awarded during your break, will ship within 5-10 business days. All of the cards will be shipped in proper protection including bubble mailer, box, penny sleeve, top loader team bag and/or one-touch case at no extra charge.
We do ship Internationally, but it will be at an additional cost. We will price out the shipping for you and then invoice you for the cost via PayPal. If you do not want to pay for the extra shipping costs, you will need to provide a shipping address within the United States.
Section 4. Returns/Refunds
All sales are final; returns and refunds are not allowed. All cards are randomly inserted across the production run and are not guaranteed in any individual pack, box or case. RDR Sportscards makes no representation as the future value of any card.
Section 5. Getting Skunked/Going Hitless
In the unfortunate event that you enter into a break and don’t receive any hits (hits are defined as single patch/relic card/piece of memorabilia, or single autograph card) you may be eligible for one or more promotions being offered by RDR Sportscards, see your particular break for details.
Section 6. Types of Group Breaks
There are several types of group breaks that you can participate in.
